Australia cyber security, live
The current Australian picture in one place: ACSC alerts and advisories from cyber.gov.au as they publish, what the Australian security press is covering right now, and how the Essential Eight maturity model maps onto a real Microsoft 365 tenant. Senserva serves Australian teams directly and through our partner network. Data refreshes three times a day from the primary sources.

The Essential Eight, evidenced from a Microsoft 365 scan
The ACSC's Essential Eight is the Australian baseline, and most of it is exactly what Siemserva by Senserva measures in Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, and Entra ID. One audit shows where each mitigation stands, with the evidence attached:
Patch applications and operating systems
Two of the Eight are patching, and the maturity clock starts at exploitation. Our Microsoft patch tracker ranks every update by real attacks (CISA KEV, EPSS), and the audit shows which devices are missing them, including devices missing known-exploited patches.
Multi-factor authentication and admin privileges
Restrict administrative privileges and require MFA: that is the identity half of the audit. Authentication method checks, privileged access and PIM checks, and all 60 Conditional Access checks, ranked by Severity.
Application control, macros, and hardening
The endpoint mitigations are read straight from Intune policy: application control, Office macro settings, and user application hardening checks across the Intune configuration domain, plus Defender coverage in devices and compliance.
